ECCLESIAL THOUGHT (SECOND TERM WEEK FOUR) – FITNESS

“Yesterday is a cancelled cheque; tomorrow is a promissory note; today is the only cash you have— take care of your health today.”

  • Kay Lyons

You don’t see too many adults out on the playground. But of course the playgrounds are full of kids running around, jumping over the teeter-totters, playing basketball, or swinging on the monkey bars. Maybe that’s why you were in a lot better shape when you were younger. Think about how much time you spent exercising when you were a little kid. It’s still a good thing to do.

You don’t have to stop running and jumping now that you’re older. In fact, exercise is beneficial no matter how old you are. Exercise will not only help you stay fit, but it’s also a good way to relieve the stress of everyday life.

A good exercise routine starts in your mind. You have to decide to do it. Make some important choices about your health. Set some goals. Choose your methods. Then proceed with determination by establishing an unbreakable exercise habit. Determine to regain some of that energy you had as a kid.

Try on some exercise for a good fit.
