“Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever-fresh and radiant possibility.”
-Kate Douglas Wiggins
An ancient proverb says, “Focusing on the gloom and doom makes even your bones tired.” It’s hard to focus on the positive when you feel like slumping around in your own little world of doom. Often it’s just as hard to see the positive in other people, but if you focus on the negative, it eats away at your very core. It makes your bones tired.
Look for the good in others. Every person has at least one good characteristic. Why not stretch to find it? It’s there. God created human life, and he doesn’t do inferior work. When you discover that good quality in a person, focus on it. Think about the good instead of the bad.
Look at life’s circumstances in the same manner. Develop a healthy outlook. Some look at the sky and see the clouds. Positive outlook chases the blues away. It encourages the naysayers as well.
